VALENTINE WEEK SPECIAL-1.

FAVOURITE ROMANTIC 'SUMMER INTERLUDE'.

Birger Malmsten & Maj-Britt Nilsson in Swedish film 'Summer Interlude' (1951).

My most favourite romantic movie of renowned Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman is 'Summer Interlude' (1951). Based on the story 'Mari' which Bergman himself wrote & sensibly directed. It's about a ballerina who recalls her first love during summer vacation!
Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman.

Cinematographed by Gunnar Fischer & Edited by Oscar Rasander! And Erik Nordgren gave lyrical music for beautiful ballet dance sequences in it! Handsome Birger Malmsten & Pretty Maj-Britt Nilsson intensely expressed this sensitive love on screen which touched the heart!
Romantic scene of Maj-Britt Nilsson & Birger Malmsten!

This is one of my top most favourite romantic films from the history of world cinema!..I still remember watching 'Summer Interlude' first time in our 'Film Appreciation Course', 1989 at FTII (Pune)..and romantic feelings shared with special friend!
