Today is Birth Anniversary of great Italian Filmmaker..Vittorio De Sica!

Leading pioneer of 'Italian Neo-realism movement'...De Sica's films won four Academy Awards..in which 'Shoeshine' (1946) & 'Bicycle Thieves' (1948) awarded honorary Oscars and 'Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow' (1963) & 'The Garden of the Finzi Continis' (1970) won 'Best Foreign Language Films' Oscars!..He also acted in few films!

His great neo-realistic cinema gave inspiration to other filmmakers in the world..in which includes our Indian filmmakers Satyajit Ray, Bimal Roy & Raj Kapoor too!
