Birthday of pretty sensible Marathi actress..Devika Daftardar just happened!

She started acting on stage in school-college days..mainly experimental theatre! In 2004 she appeared on screen with Marathi film 'Devrai' made by Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar. This film was about Schizophrenia awareness and she acted with Atul Kulkarni!

In 2006 challenging role came to Devika in film 'Nital' (2006) made by Bhave & Sukthankar. She intensely portrayed the struggle of girl who has Vitiligo, a skin disease in it! 

Then she acted with handsome Sameer Dharmadhikari in his wife Aparna Dharmadhikari produced film 'Nirop' (2007).

She continued acting in Bhave-Sukthankar's films like social 'Ek Cup Chya' (2009), experimental 'Samhita' (2013) & national award winner 'Kaasav' (2016). 

She also did different kind of roles in contemporary films made by other directors like Gajendra Ahire's 'Sawar re' (2008) and Jaypraad Desai's 'Nagrik' (2015).
