Today is 7th death anniversary of Marathi film actress & producer-director Smita Talwalkar!

She started career as a news - reader on Doordarshan kendra, Mumbai. Then she turned to.. acting! In 1989 she formed her 'Asmita Chitra' and produced films with family & social - values. These includes 'Kalat - Nakalat', 'Choukat Raja' & 'Satchya Aat Gharat'. 

And she directed family satire 'Savat Majhi Ladki'!

She also did commendable work for television with producing - serials like 'Un Paus', 'Gharkul' & famous 'Avantika', 'Unch Majha Zoka'!

She won state and national awards for her films!

Truly missed the..'Aanandacha Jhad'! Remembering Smita Talwalkar through her song..

"He jeevan sunder aahe.." 

the philosophy..she believed a lot!
