SPECIAL FOCUS ON FAVOURITE GENRE OF OUR CINEMA!

Yesterday I published here a picture of 'Garm Hava' (1973) with partition backdrop! In that Shamshad (Jalal Agha) dramatically discuss a historical scene of emperor Jahangir and Mehrunnissa with Amina (Gita Siddharth).

And today's second picture is (left side) Emperor Jahangir's love towards queen Mehrunnisa! Chandramohan & beautiful Naseem Banu portrayed.. these characters in great Urdu-Hindi film 'Pukar' (1939).

'Minerva Movietone's (on right) Sohrab Modi made this earliest Muslim Social..which was about that Mughal emperor's great - justice and his inner conflict due to his wife's mistake!

Another legend..Kamal Amrohi wrote story & lyrics for this film!

Beautiful actress Saira Banu is a daughter of that beauty queen.. Naseem!

I admire innocence & sweetness of that early malika-e-husn!!
