World marked the 75th anniversary of allied victory over Nazi Germany 
in World War II. In Russia and former Soviet Union republics every year celebrate this 9th May as 'Victory Day'!..On this occasion, I remembered my favourite Soviet film with this backdrop..'The Cranes Are Flying' (1957) and legendary actress Tatiana Samoilova's great role in it!

Renowned Georgian-born Soviet filmmaker Mikhail Kalatozov directed this film..which was - cinematographed by Sergy Urusevsky and edited by Mariva Timofeveva! All well filmed visuals get you involved in it!..Polish-born Soviet music director Moisev Vaynberg also contributed through appropriate tunes!

With great Tatiana Samoilova, artists acted with her in this film were Aleksey Batalov, Aleksandr Shvorin, Svetlana Kharitolova & stage actor Vasili Merkurvev! Their natural performances made this film immortal!
