'All About Eve' (1950) drew attention! 

By 1953 she had leading role in 'Niagara' a melodramatic film noir! Her 'dumb blonde' persona was used for comic effect in the subsequent films such as 'How to Marry a Millionaire' (1953) and 'The Seven Year - Itch' (1955) in which her "trademark scene" was there!

Her film company 'Marilyn Monroe - Productions' released 'The Prince and the Showgirl' (1957). She won 'Golden Globe's Best Actress Award' for her performance in 'Some Like It Hot' (1959) which was also.. nominated for 'Oscar'!
