LOVE AND CHAPLIN!

Today is birth anniversary of silent cinema's master..Charlie Chaplin!

On this occasion I remembered my favourite romantic film of him..'City Lights' (1931).

Here are two contrast scenes from this film..

First is tramp showing his love towards sightless flower girl.

Second is flower girl can not recognise tramp after her sight restored!

Beautiful Virginia Cherrill portrayed this character sensibly with comic Chaplin in it!

This was the first time..writer-producer-director Chaplin composed the music also!
