Veteran English actor-singer..Leonard Whiting!

Leonard Whiting who superbly portrayed the Romeo in Franco Zeffirelli's popular film 'Romeo and Juiet' (1968)..has celebrated 70th birthday!

Pretty Olivia Hussey & Leonard Whiting 

as & in film 'Romeo and Juiet' (1968).

After that superhit film which earned him 'Golden Globe' - award English actor-singer Whiting acted on stage & in film. From Italian 'Giacomo Casanova: Childhood and Adolescence' (1969) to English 'Social Suicide' (2015) he did very few films. And he also acted in television shows like 'Frankenstein: The True Story'!

I still remember this handsome Romeo Leonard's innocent face while looking at pretty Juliet (Olivia Hussey) in balcony..and Romeo's famous quote in that..
"It is the East and
Juliet is the Sun!"

Both are my favourites!!
