Today is 7th death anniversary of Music Director Aanand Modak!

He started his career on stage with most discussed musical 'Ghashiram Kotwal' and 'Mahanirvan'..the milestones of Marathi theatre!

Then through Radio & Television he conveyed his experiments in music. After that he started giving music to parallel Marathi films.. '22 June 1897', 'Disha', 'Mukta', 'Samantar', offbeat films 'Choukat Raja', 'Doghi', family films 'Aai', 'Natigoti', 'Tu tithe Mi', 'Lapandav' & films like 'Harishchandrachi - Factory', 'Masala'! His last film released was biopic 'Yashwantrao Chavan-Bakhar Eka Vadalachi'!

 

Use of classical, folk music with own experiments was his speciality!

He received various awards!!

Meeting him and his memories still lingering in mind..

With he composed song's line "Chuke kalajacha thoka.!"
