Tarkovsky's 'Stalker's(1979) colour scene comes after black & white portion!

After hearing "Zone" word so many times..remembered scene of great.. Russian filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky's 'Stalker' (1979).

In this film 'Stalker' area containing the Zone is shrouded in secrecy. And a guide leads men.. towards that!

Specifically it's train shot is very catchy and pan shots, close ups & use of sound made that scene memorable!

Tarkovsky's 'Solaris'(1972) beautiful scene 'car driving along a highway'!

 

That recollects the memory of earlier Tarkovsky's film.. 'Solaris's (1972).. beautifully taken scene of 'car driving along a highway'.. which is my favourite!

 

Like 'Solaris', in 'Stalker' also black and white portion ends on colour scenes..when men reaches to their targets!

Both the scenes are masterpieces of world cinema!!
