Today is 4th death anniversary of Most popular James Bond of Hollywood cinema..veteran British actor Sir Roger George Moore!

Before cinema during 1962 to 1973..Roger Moore - became known for his character as Simon Templar in the television series 'The Saint and the Persuaders'!

After George Lazenby & Sean Connery he appeared on big screen as James Bond 007 with film 'Live and Let Die' (1973). Then he played the role of this secret agent in 6 more films includes 'The Man with the Golden Gun' (1974), 'The Spy who loved me' (1977), 'Moonranker' - (1979), 'For your eyes only' (1981), 'Octopussy' (1983) & 'A view to a kill' (1985).

 

Later Roger Moor was appointed as.. the Goodwill - Ambassador of - 'UNICEFF' in 1991 & he devoted more time of his rest life to humanitarian work! In 2003 he was honoured by Queen Elizabeth II for his 'Services to charity'! Then in 2008 the French Government appointed him a 'Commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres' and same year he received a star 'Hollywood Walk of Fame'!
