Popular Hindi cinema's legendary singer Kishor Kumar sung this for our great filmmaker Satyajit Ray's classic Bengali film 'Charulata' (1964). 

For that he was very excited!

Madhabi Mukherjee & Soumitra Chatterjee in 'Charulata's (1964) that song

This song was written by 'Charulata's great author Rabindranath Tagore and Satyajit Ray composed the music for it!

On screen Soumitra Chatterjee..romantic Amal performed it on piano for Madhabi Mukherjee..art lover Charulata!

Before this, Kishor Kumar also sung few Bengali songs in which includes "Mone pore ruby roy.." original of Hindi film 'Anamika's (1973) famous song "Meri bhigi bhigi si palko pe reh gaye." which composed by R.D. Burman!

On today's Ray's death anniversary remembered this!
