MADONNA'S IMMORTAL CLASSIC 'EVITA'!

Beautiful Madonna's great performance in & as 'Evita' (1996).

Hollywood's famous pop star Madonna greatly portrayed her lifetime role in biographical film 'Evita'! This is 25th anniversary year of this classic musical..my favourite film of beautiful Madonna!

'Evita' was based on a struggling life of Maria Eva Duarte.. from poverty, stage artist to common people's leader and then upto wife of Argentine President Juan Peron! Earlier in 1976..there was a musical play of same name on Broadway. Then Australian Robert Stigwood and Hungarian Andrew Vajna produced this film with renowned English director Alan Parker in 1996. Famous American writer Oliver Stone wrote screenplay of this film with director Parker!

After that filmmakers chose "Queen of Pop" beautiful Hollywood singer Madonna to portray the title role of Eva Peron! With her, English singer Jimmy Nail played the role of Argentine Tango artist Agustin Magaldi. Famous Spanish actor.. Antonio Banderas worked as narrator Che a member of public and Welsh actor Jonathan Pryce appeared as Argentine President Juan Peron!

Iranian-French cinematographer Darius Khondji handled the camera work of this film and gave a docu-drama style treatment! Then English editor Gerry Hambling did his work effectively according to changing periods in the film.

After that main thing comes for Madonna's movie is..music and with lyrics, music- director Andrew - Lloyd Webber.. composed it with catchy tunes. And Madonna sung from her heart.."Don't cry for me Argentina.."

'Evita' got critical acclaim and grand success on box-office! Madonna's superb performance was widely praised! And film got many awards in which includes..one 'Oscar' for 'Best Original Song' ("You must love me..") and three 'Golden Globe' Awards includes..for 'Best Picture' & 'Best Actress' to Madonna!

I still remember sweet singing performance of pretty gorgeous Madonna in it on song.. "I want to be Rainbow High.."

Notable that, birth centenary of Eva Peron already happened!

And beautiful Madonna is 60+ now!!
