FELLINI'S 'LA DOLCE VITA'..60!

Renowned Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini's one of the post neo-realism finest cinematic works was 'La Dolce Vita' (1960)..which focused on the glamorous life of Rome! This film completed 60 years!

Fellini himself wrote this film with screen writers Ennio - Flaiano and Tullio Pinlli. It was a new form of narrative which focused on a series of stories in the life of journalist who writes for gossip magazines!
Italy's all time biggest star Marcello Mastroianni played this protagonist superbly with Swedish actress Anita Ekberg & famous French actress Anouk Aimee!

According to script requirements, Fellini combined the - constructed sets with location shots. In this cinematographer.. Otello Martelli filmed the scenes with.. meaningful camera movement! Then Leo Catozzo edited the film with required effects and Otello Martelli composed appropriate music!

This film got worldwide success & critical acclaim! And won 'Palme d'Or' at the 'Cannes Film Festival'!..English meaning of this film title is 'the sweet life' or 'the good life'; but now the reality there is different because of current world scenario!
