GRACEFULL ACTRESS..RAJESHWARI SACHDEV!

Today is Birthday of Beautiful and talented Actress friend..Rajeshwari Sachdev!
Pallavi Joshi & Rajeshwari Sachdev in 'Suraj ka Satavan Ghoda' (1992).

Rajeshwari began her acting career on stage doing plays of 'IPTA'! From stage, Film, TV & again stage with 'Gauhar Jaan'..she completed more than 25 years of her acting career!

In 1991 she made her debut on screen with Marathi movie 'Aayatya Gharat Gharoba' which was directed by Sachin! Then her next film was in Hindi and based on a novel of Dharmavir Bharati..'Suraj ka Satavan Ghoda' (1992) directed by renowned filmmaker Shyam Benegal. This won 'Best Film National Award'! Then her role in his film 'Sardari Begum' (1996) gained her 'National Award of Best Supporting Actress'. She mostly acted in Benegal's parallel cinema like 'Samar' & 'Hari Bhari' (2000).

Internationally she beautifully acted in couple of films like..'Little Buddha' (1993) directed by renowned Italian filmmaker Bernardo Bertolucci!

She again appeared in Marathi films like social 'Aarambh' (2011), experimental-musical 'Samhita' (2013) & 'Welcome Zindagi' (2015).

 
She also worked in television serials like 'Margarita' on 'Zee TV', 'Laut Aao Trisha' on 'Life OK', 'Balika Vadhu' on 'Colors TV' & 'Peshwa Bajirao' on 'Sony TV'. Her excellent performances on television bagged awards like 'Screen Videocon Award for Best Actress'!

She is also good singer and during 2004 to 2007 she released her music albums like..'Umang', 'Mukhada Piya ka.." and Punjabi pop "Hulle Hullare.".

Apart from this along with husband actor Varun Badola she participated in tv dance competition show 'Nach Baliye' and performed nicely!

I have been watching her nice performances in different genre of films in festivals like 'IFFI' & 'MAMI's..and always had good warm interactions!
